Holiday Boat Parade of Lights WeekendA Christmas Light Display from Old Town Alexandria to
Washington HarbourThe Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights is a weekend of holiday fun
in both Old Town Alexandria and Washington, DC. On December 2 & 3, 2006, dozens of festively decorated pleasure boats
will light up the sky along the Potomac River during the Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights. The parade begins at Alexandria's
waterfront and culminates at Washington Harbour in Georgetown. There will be collection boxes for Toys for Tots at each location.
The Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights begins at the Alexandria marina behind the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
Visitors can enjoy a holiday review featuring local school groups performing on the deck of the Chart House restaurant. Santa
will arrive via boat to visit with children dockside at the gazebo and will be available for photos
